I decided to do a little research last night for snow shovels and found this thing called the Sno wovel. It’s a shovel mounted onto a single wheel for easier lifting and snow moving. While it has some national endorsements for safety and ecological benefits, I wonder how effective it is. Does anyone own one of these things?

Rather than offering more advice, I decided to seek some out.
I was shoveling snow from my driveway this morning and in the process had this question pop up. Has someone designed a snow shovel that will not push snow off to the side? Here’s why I ask that question.
Whenever I shovel, the shovel pushes the snow not only forward but also to the side. So when I get to the edge, I have a small strip of snow in the part of the driveway I already shoveled. I then have to go back and reshovel that little strip before continuing. I do this with every new shovel of snow and I feel like I waste time reshoveling.
Does anyone know of some kind of ergonomically designed snow shovel to keep snow from sneaking off to the side?

Hey everyone!
I know it’s a little late, but I hope that everyone had a great holiday weekend. My wife and I celebreated Christmas with her parents and our niece. She was the only person under the age of 2, so of course, the shower of presents was very heavy. I hope everyone has a great time New Year’s Eve, but please be safe during your celebrations.

I was talking to friend of mine who does web site design in orange county about the accessibility issue I mentioned yesterday, and he sent me a link to some fun stories from the past year. I read through them and started laughing. There were some goofy headlines during this past year, and I wanted to share them with you. View the funniest headlines from the past year here.

I just read a story about how big companies are looking into optimizing their site to be more accessible to those with physical handicaps. It got me to thinking about the smaller websites and blogs. There are readers everywhere and if you want to get your message out, it would behoove you to try and reach as many people as possible. Now, while you may not have the money to spend on consultants and fancy website design, you can enact some changes to help potential readers access your site. Start small, but at least start.

If you want readers on your blog, keeping track of current events will help immensely. Read the newspaper, surf the web for interesting stories, watch TV. There are even live video casting solutions that want to witness events over the internet. However you do it, keeping your finger on the pulse of everyday life and including it in your blog will get you readers.

I was doing some research on website companies looking for a good, reputable orange county web design company to help me with my website. Cause if there’s one thing I’ve learned, the best content in the world cannot overcome a poorly designed site. You can have the cure for cancer listed on your web site or blog, but if you have a hideous color scheme or a messy layout, no one is going to believe your message. Give your blog/website design careful consideration and don’t just throw something up, because a poor appearance leads nowhere.

You know the old adage “Slow and steady wins the race?” Well, that is true for pretty much anything, whether you’re dealing with your own business or a blog. When it comes to buidling your blog, steady means continuous maintenance. Don’t worry if it takes a while to build your readers. Just keep posting to your blog, add content, and sure enough, the people will find you. Good topics will then keep your readers coming back.

It’s getting to the point very quickly that blogs design is almost as in-depth as website design. While the content of a blog is what will keep readers coming back, a good design will catch their attention and make them stop to take a look. Many companies that do website design usually do blog design as well. And since blogs are more personal, a small web design business will be able to give you the personal attention you want for a blog. I live in Orange County, so I would look for web site design orange county in my search bar on the internet or my phone book. See if you can find someone where you live.
