Well, of there was ever someone who deserved to be called a twit as well as what he wrote on Twitter, this is it. Some clown from Britain decided to tweet that a certain airport would be destroyed if said airport didn’t improve it’s customer service. I’m not going to go any further.

Here’s a philosophical question: We call people who use Twitter tweeters and their micro blog posts tweets. Shouldn’t we call people who use Twitter and what they produce twits?

Segway death

There’s a bit of irony here, and most of it is tragic. The British owner of the Segway company, the two-wheeled gyroscope balanced machine that was supposed to revolutionize transportation, died near his home when he fell from a cliff in Yorkshire. Where’s the irony? He was riding a segway when he fell.

If you’re big into technology and/or the people who keep us all updated on what is going, you probably know the name Michael Arrington. He is the originator of the blog Tech Crunch and recently gave some insights into his daily routine. It’s amazing what some people do in pursuit of their passion.

This toes the line between serious fun and more of the goofy fun I usually like to include. Andy Andrews is a best selling author and stand up comic who mixes down home wisdom and humor. This list of the 50 most popular saying used by parents is a real treat to listen to, and I can say that I heard almost all of these come from my parents at some point during my childhood.

If you’re planning on influencing people with your website or blog, this book might be worth your while. I found out about this thanks to Daniel Scocco. The nice thing is unlike other free ebooks, you don’t need to sign up for an email list. You just download the book, read it and apply the concepts to your own site.

It seems people think any company will start producing its own phone. Facebook executives have denied they are developing their own even though they are planning to push further into the cell phone sector. How do you push into that sector without developing your own phone?

There are a lot of people in arms over the recent development of genetically engineered salmon. Here’s my take. If the fish are produced in an ecologically responsible manner and the meat is not toxic, then what is the harm. It will help with the hunger problem as well as health issues.

The iPad debuted to wide consumer acclaim, yet Apple feels the need to foist an updated version on us. I know that technology must continue evolving and progressing, but can Apple wait for a few more innovations besides just a bigger screen before we introduce the next version of a gadget?

This time around, I’m including something that’s a little more inspirational than just a silly video or story. I recently heard this song from Leann Rhimes, and though I’m not a country fan, I think the message in the lyrics is something we need to hear right now. You have something unique to offer the world if you allow yourself to stretch beyond your normal parameters.
