Are you looking for good deals on buying groceries? Well In Store Deals are something that everyone is looking for! We all want to be able to save money where ever we go and what ever we buy! The more we save makes for the more we can buy or the more that we can save!
These days buying candy for trick or treaters is too expensive. Kids are more greedy now so they go to more houses and want more than one piece of candy per house. It cost A LOT of money. Bags of candy are getting pretty high in price too! I work at a group home with people with mental and physical handicaps and we, the staff, have to purchase the candy for the trick or treaters! It cost too much money. Even buying the candy in bulk from places like Sam’s Club is still expensive!
So the strangest thing happend to my husband and I today while we were on our way home from my niece’s birthday party. We were almost home when we pass buy a little 10 year old boy on the side of a very busy highway. He is all alone and crying, and to make matters worse, his little metal scooter is in the middle of the highway! I was terrified that something had happend to him and he had a broken bone or something! It was terrible for me. I am a mother and I have a terrible time with other children when I think that they are hurt! So I cry myself as I tell my husband to turn around! We get there and when I asked him if he was ok he shook his head no. He was not moving at all so I wondered if he hurt his ankle or something. When I asked him what was wrong he said that he was lost and could not get home. I was a little suprised that a young boy of his age would be on a busy highway by himself and now he is telling me that he does not know how to get home. I asked this little boy if he knew his parents phone number and he said no. I want to stess this. It is very important for you to make sure that your children know your phone number. Even if you think that you are the best parents in the world, accidents do happen. With your help the situation could be a lot less horrible for you and your child if he or she gets lost and knows your phone number. An address would make it even better. This was just a bad ordeal all around because now I have a lost scared child who is crying because he cannot get home. I move my 9 1/2 month old’s car seat over and make room for this little boy and we are going to find his home. Then another car pulls over and a man gets out of the car. Just one man…now I am not usually judgemental but I was a little weary of the situation. I know that I should not judge anyone, but when it comes to children I don’t take any chances. My husband and I followed them until the car pulled over and the little boy got out of the car with his scooter. The man also got out and walked up to the door. We pulled away and went home. I called the police station just to let them know what was going on just so that they could go and make sure everything was ok at the little boys home. We had no idea if the little boy had a bad home life or if he was just being disobedient and riding his scooter where he shouldnt be. But again, because there was a child involved, I wanted to send and officer over just to be safe. So I know its random, but his is what happened to me today!

Summer is gone and we are now experiencing cold windy weather. Some odd people like cold weather, but most of us enjoy our summers and springs. But there is no use trying to fight it because we can never win. So bring out your sweatshirts and hoodies. Break out your cute winter boots and get ready because Fall is here!

Taking yesterday’s idea and running with it a little, I’m starting to think of all the things that Apple would possibly do after someone predicts they don’t. I got to thinking about custom exhibit designs, those booths you see at trade shows. If Apple ever decided to get into that arena, I’m sure Steve Jobs would find a way to have a press release about the iBooth.

I think it’s safe to say the government is not firing on all cylinders. We have a lot of advantages and quite a few disadvantages living in the society we live in. But, I go on skeptic alert whenever I see an article like the one I read in Newsweek. The title is what put me on guard, which basically said, these guys know how to fix the government.

I once heard a quote that said standard education gets you a living which is fine. However, self-education gets you a fortune, which is super-fine. Peter Thiel, co-founder of Paypal, gave an interview that stated that in so many terms. Thiel feels there is an education bubble similar to the housing and dotcom bubbles earlier in the decade. Does that mean that college degrees are soon to be going the way of the dodo? I think there are still too many people in influential positions who believe in higher education.

Speaking of changes on the internet, not only is Digg and Delicious going down in popularity, many are specualting that Craigslist is headed in the same direction. The reason very few people seem to be aware of it is because it’s being done categorically. Josh Hannah says that everything that Craigslist offers is being taken over by other unrelated sites. These other sites are doing the same things with more style and design. Hannah goes on to say that Craigslist can possibly avoid the downfall if they take the time to reinvest some profit into their site.

…don’t all finish last. I was reading a post recently about a blogger who maintains an admittedly smaller blog. Through a series of fortunate circumstances and initiative on their part, this person was able to interview Guy Kawasaki, an icon in the tech and internet world. As he detailed his story, it was clear that part of the opporunity came from everyone involved being courteous and generally nice to each other.
