Does this picture instantly take you to somewhere warm, perhaps the beach or on a boat? That’s how it makes me feel and that is exactly why I am excited for summer! I can’t wait for the nights of campfires, the days on the beach and in the water, and the gorgeous tan that I hope to get.
46 ounces of pineapple juice
40 ounces of Coco Lopez cream of coconut

frozen strawberries in syrup
2 tablespoons of water
Directions: In a bowl, puree strawberries and water. In the blender, combine the Coco Lopez, pineapple juice, ice and half and half. Mix well and make sure there aren’t chunks of ice. Pour the strawberry mixture into cups and top with the frozen coconut mixture. Enjoy!
Since I’m always looking for products that I can add to my home, I was delighted to come across the GG Collection on one of my most recent favorite sites: The Lamp Stand (I’m always on there getting purses, candles, jewelry, and all that fun girl stuff!).
Anyway, I instantly fell in love with the GG Collection (which stands for Gracious Goods, by the way) because of its unique look. They have products for the kitchen, tabletop, bathroom, and even the dogs! I can’t wait to load up on all of these amazing finds. My house is going to look great. It goes perfectly with our whole “French Country decor” look.
Advertising and marketing is something that really facinates me. This is what my guy does, so he talks to me about the amazing projects that he gets to work on and his job. I love that he shares something with me that is as much of a part of his life as his job and passion, so I’m always willing to listen!
He was talking about these custom exhibit builders that he was working with a lot this past month and he’s super excited to be working with them. Expo-3 is a company that specializes in the custom creation and manufacturing of exhibits for tradeshows and more. They work well with a budget and create amazing pieces. And don’t be turned-off by the fact that they are located in California, it doesn’t mean they just work with local businesses. This is a worldwide company and work with companies all over the place!
After starting some vigorous Spring Cleaning, I have discovered just how messy I am. It’s really not apparent if you walk into my house, because it’s almost always clean and in tip top shape. I found a weekly cleaning checklist and by doing just one or two things a day, my house (almost) always seems clean. Upon cleaning out some of my closets and drawers, however, I discovered just how messy I really am!
I ended up getting rid of a lot of things and buying large Rubbermaid totes to store some seasonal things away from closets. I found this fantastic idea on Pinterest for organizing my desk. All you need is a spice rack! Put a different product in each spice jar and you won’t have trouble finding anything.
I love sweets and for this and other reasons, Easter is one of my favorite holidays! It’s a time for family, fellowship, worship, and of course, sweets! This is a recipe for creamy chocolate mousse pie that’s easy to make and will be a huge hit with the relatives. They are going to love it!
1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
1 (7 ounce) bar of chocolate candy
1/2 cup milk
2 cups of heavy whipping cream
1 (9 inch) graham pie crust, baked (I buy mine pre-made at the store!)
Heat marshmallows, chocolate candy, and milk into a saucepan until marshmallows and chocolate are melted. Stir constantly…this burns easily! Allow the mixture to cool completely.
Beat heavy cream in a bowl until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the cooled mixture into the heavy cream peaks and pour into the baked pie crust. Refrigerate for about 3 hours, until it sets.
